At the Guanacaste Airport you have a few options for transfers to and from the airport: private shuttles, shared shuttles and taxies.
If you are traveling with 2 or more people, we think private shuttles are your best option. These shuttles take you door to door and they are the quickest way to get from point A to point B. They are also the cheapest if you have 3 or more people.
If you are traveling solo or with just one other person shared shuttles can be more affordable but take longer to get to your final destination and you could be sharing the ride with people you don’t know.
Private Transfers
Private transfers are often in large mini vans like the Toyota HiAce Van and large SUVs that are ideal for groups of 2 to 6 people.
These transfers are best for families and groups of friends, or anybody who wants to travel in more privacy and comfort. They can also be the cheapest option if you have 3 or more people in your party.
The shuttles are equipped with air conditioning, comfortable seating and plenty of space so you have a relaxing journey.
Shared Transfers
For those who are traveling solo or with one other person, shared transfers offer more affordability.
These shared transfers are on a per-person cost and are in mini busses.
This is a cost-effective option for travelers who are on a budget but still want a comfortable and safe travel experience to their final destination.
Taxies
Taxies are in our opinion the last option for transfers from the Guanacaste Airport. They typically are the most expensive and the most uncomfortable. However, they are readily available to take you anywhere.
